… Let us explain why we say so about you!

Dear Mr. J. D. Vance – Vice President of the United States.

We are not sure you’ve done your analysis, when you not only accuse Denmark of not being a good ally, but also ignore Danish soldiers who have helped you in the Afghanistan and the Iraq war. Two wars that for professional people have never, ever made sense. Especially not, when your country and soldiers left Afghanistan to the Taliban.

Such an act, from an ally – that has brought Denmark into war with Afghanistan – makes you as an ally, a strange kind of peace-seeking nation – that respects human rights and women’s rights.

… and now you’re threatening Denmark, Greenland, Canada, China and other countries in Europe and Latin America.

How do you avoid counting the number of people who start to dislike you and your country’s behaviour?

Have you ever thought about the fact, that the more countries and people you push away from you in a trade war and maybe even more than that – these people might become the new allies – who don’t care about your trade war, because your country’s behaviour creates a willingness among several countries to work together and trade together – without the US being invited. A development where several Western- and BRIC countries are obvious participants. The economic- and development potential of such cooperation will economically – when the African continent joins … it will prevent the US from participating in the future global economic development, with an almost unseen development potential – like an almost new global golden age.

Mr. J.D. Vance – your smart comment about Denmark – not being a good ally for the US – … that is not a smart or trustworthy comment, but much more a comment from you, that reveals your incompetence when handling diplomatic relations – with trustworthy allies – as if you were attending an American football game, where a new match will soon be possible, when you have lost a game.

Mr. J.D. Vance, – just for the record, – it takes many years to build credible diplomatic relations with your allies – and you’re about to throw that away and lose – even not just a win win situation, but actually setting up a lose lose situation between the US and your allies. And doing so for many years to come.

Maybe you should take a few days off from work and rethink, not only what your country – must and can do – for you, to cover up your diplomatic mistakes, but – now pay attention – what you can do for your country.

… and if all you can do, is to insult other countries that are your allies, then you are not even a good ally for your own country – the United States – and in that case, you should let a more experienced diplomat take care of US international relations in the future.
