… Not only the lives of Ukrainians matter, but also the lives of Russians matter.

Dear Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and President Zelenskyj.

Have you forgotten how it all started, when Ukraine had the opportunity to negotiate a solution where the country became a member of the EU, but not NATO. In order to avoid a conflict with Russia … but that option was rejected by… at least officially rejected by President Zelenskyj.

Now, more than a year after the conflict between Russia and Ukraine broke out, the most obvious reason to end the conflict seems to be – to remember that lives matter. The lives of both Ukrainians and Russians matter.

Why not give peace a chance by moving away from the arms solution and towards the negotiating table, focusing on a solution where Ukraine becomes a member of the EU.  A solution where Ukraine becomes a neutral country. A neutrality status, protected by NATO as well as Russia.

If Ukraine doesn’t have to spend huge sums of money on military, they have a much better opportunity to create economic growth and development for the whole country, which means more prosperity for all citizens of Ukraine.

Creating more prosperity for Ukrainians naturally opens up more trade between Ukrainians and Russians. This will mean mutual economic growth and development for both countries, which means more prosperity for all citizens in Ukraine as well as in Russia. 

Dear Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen and President Zelenskyj and President Putin, why not give peace a chance, go to the negotiating table and have the opportunity to create prosperity for both countries.

… Mrs. Frederiksen, this could mean for you that you could become a candidate for the Nobel Prize, instead of being a candidate to become the new Secretary General of NATO.

…  Mrs. Frederiksen, as mentioned before, why not give peace a chance, and with you as the female leader of a country showing the goods to act wisely. The leaders of several countries will initially disagree with you, but in the long run you will gain their respect and admiration because you stand up for – that life matters, Russians as well as Ukrainians.

… Dear Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, you can be the wise leader who initiates the negotiations.
